Uses: Paddling
Rating: 4 out of 5
Features: Water bladder pouch, Front food pockets, Buoyancy.
Pros: The ability to store a 3litre water bladder in the back makes life more comfy on the longer paddles.
Also the front pockets have ample room for storing food and extras like EPIRB, whistle, compass etc
Reflective patches make being seen a possibility when you do lose your boat too!
Plenty of adjustment is to be had from the strapping systems and the vest is quite comfy when fitted properly.
Cons: Feeding the hose of your bladder through the pouch hole is a finicky process. Cut a bigger hole or pull the bite valve off the hose first.
Feedback: We have been using these for a couple of seasons now and love them. We have even run in them during a portage stage for about 11km, but make sure you take some body glide if you plan to do the same. You can pick one up from Mirage when you order your new boat.
